Technology

Kayrros uses data from the Copernicus network of satellites operated by the European Space Agency. The Asset Observation Platform combines radar and optical images from the Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 satellites with proprietary expertise in image processing and our specifically built asset database to construct the different aspects of an asset’s history from available data and multiple sources.

Historical Data

Currently available data include optical, infrared and thermal imagery going back to 1973

Legacy resolution

Revisit frequency and spatial resolution range from 16 days and 60 meters for older images, to 1 day and 1 meter for more recent images

Platform-Based

Data are accessed and analyzed on the Kayrros Asset Observation Platform. Workflows and data feeds can be automated at scale
